FARE OF THE FREE CHILD

From @radicalselfie — Writer. Unschooler. Digital Nomad.
My podcast, Fare of the Free Child, airs weekly and centers black and brown people’s voices and experiences in discussions about unconventional parenting, particularly how we facilitate learning. I team up with special-invited co-facilitators to discuss the fears and the fares (costs) of raising liberated children of color in a world that tends to diminish, dehumanize, and disappear them.

OFF-TRAIL LEARNING

Interviews with self-directed learners, innovative educators, and young people blazing their own paths through life. Hosted by Blake Boles. Visit Off-Trail Learning at offtraillearning.com.

REAL EDUCATION PODCAST

Hosted by Blake Boles, The Off-Trail Learning podcast was originally the Real Education Podcast, through which I recorded 19 episodes in 2015. Here’s the original description:
What does it mean to get a “real education”—one that prepares you for the most important parts of life, instead of just academic achievement? In this podcast, I interview the founders of innovative camps, schools, learning centers, and other educational alternatives, as well as authors, parents, and young adults. Topics include self-directed learning, leadership, 21st-century skills, entrepreneurship, college, unschooling, school reform, motivation, and parenting.

EXPLORING UNSCHOOLING

Hosted by Pam Laricchia, author and long-time unschooling mom to three now-adult children. From Pam: Unschooling fascinates me as much today as it did when we got started back in 2002, and each week on the podcast my guests and I dive deep into unschooling and living joyfully with our families.

EDUCATION REVOLUTION PODCAST

The Education Revolution Podcast is the podcast of the Alternative Education Resource Organization. Every two weeks Jerry Talks to people about different facets of learner-centered education. From the college admission process for alternative students to discussing different types of alternatives with people involved in them, AERO aims to bring though provoking content to its listeners.
