Brooklyn Wetzel (she/they) rejected institutional schooling, inspired by reading John Taylor Gatto and “The Teenage Liberation Handbook” in the late nineties. Seeking her own path in music promotion, art and small business. Over the last 8 years she has had the opportunity to be a staff member at a democratic school, run a photobooth business and worked at an Indigenous language educational game development start up in rural Montana. After moving to Oregon in 2018, Brooklyn completed the Agile Learning Facilitator training and briefly ran a Flying Squad. You can find Brooklyn hanging out with her unschooled youth (11 and 14), care-taking for her disabled mother and co-facilitating the Hub:Micro Academy, an online SDE-aligned program.
