We have a unique school concept. Young people between the ages of 2 and 22 are cordially invited to develop themselves in complete freedom and on an equal basis together with their fellow students, staff and teachers.

We do not work with a preconceived curriculum. As a result, students take their personal responsibility and are in control. Together with staff members and teachers, they also fulfill all tasks and roles in the school that are normally only in the hands of the adults. In this way, we create the form and content of the school together. At De Ruimte, children learn from their intrinsic motivation.

What do we want to give our children? The chance to explore freely. To play. To feel valuable from the first minute. To develop their talents. To learn to live life and to communicate in complete freedom. To ask questions and find answers. To be able to learn from curiosity. The chance to be happy. Not only learning for later-when-I-grow-up, but also for now!
