Description
CoLibri – a Latin hummingbird – is a messenger of joy, love and freedom. It brings the ability to adapt, courage and insight. The hummingbird has the unique ability to fly backward, sideways and float in place. Its wings describe the shape of infinity as it moves.
We also see CoLibri as a combination of two important principles:
Co – community – The school community creates a respectful, supportive and safe environment. This is the basic living space in which everything else can take place.
Libre – freedom – we all have the capacity to act freely and responsibly.
